Royal Hospital, Putney
This project involved bringing the old Victorian hospital proportions into a more human and sympathetic scale. The RHND Putney deals with the very sensitive problems of PVG (permanent vegetative state) and terminal illness. The hospital has been at the forefront of a highly charged moral and human debate and the environment had to match these very humane sensibilities. The project was won by competitive tender.
